Being a student is so stressful. It is not an
easy task. Sometimes it is so difficult to control the
stress.Some students still face the problems
in adapting those skills in their daily lives. Why being a student is so stressful?
Coping with assignments deadlines, final examination, final projects,
problematic group mates,
Dealing with assignments
sometimes can also burden to a student. Student might have no source to complete the assignment in many ways
that lead to stress. Some of the
barriers are lacking of money, no internet connection, lack of references and
so on. These might be seen as minor
problems to some people, but it is not to a student. Some assignments are required to be sent in a
short period of time while student faces lack of sources. Some students will seek for the easiest
source in fulfilling the needs of an assignment, such as copy and paste from
other sources. Nevertheless some
students will feel so stressful until the level of concentration to other parts
of the studies shall be reduced.
Next, is the
final examination. During schooling, the
system of final examination is different from college education.Student must complete few years of studies
before sit for major examination. While
in university or college, student is being tested after a semester which
carries few months before sitting for final examination. Some students consider tertiary level of
system is much better than during school time.What makes a student stress? The answer is that when they already ‘suffer’
completing individual and group assignment, after a short period of time they
will face a major examination, which is final examination. The stress comes when a student lacking of
time to cover everything in roughly five to six months of a semester.
Indeed before final examination,there will be final projects to be submitted.This can be most stressful periods
for student.Financial situation of a student, limited internet access or limited
resources are among the factors that lead to stress in student in submitting
his or her final project.Then, problematic group members can also make student fell so stressful.The very importance is teamwork,
punctuality and brainstorming, sometimes one of the group mates are not able to
give his or her fullest commitment to the group assignment.
Students have to
know how to handle stress.One of the best ways is
continuous support from family members. Parents cannot adding stress to student by
pressuring them especially every time he or she is about to seat for final
examination. Prays and doa are the best
way.Be selective in
looking for friends.Avoid friends who have bad attitude
especially towards studies.Having fun
activities with friends can help to control stress. Student can go out with friends once a while
for movie, window shopping, physical activities such as jogging, sightseeing
and many more. This
is where right friends are all about. Choose the right friends for a positive impact in life and study.
Whatever it is,
most of university or college leavers might feel that was the period that
they enjoy most actually.Working is not
as easy as during study time. So, get up
friends, enjoy the moment while we can.
We can do it. Stress is
everywhere. We just need to know how to
handle it acceptably.
HOLIDAY: DON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT THEM

When we talk about vacations, one
of the dilemmas in girls is packing your luggage. Am I right?
Since I am a frequent traveller and sometimes in backpacking, I would
like to share some of the tips that I usually used during packing my
‘to-bring-items’. I can suggest travel
essentials that will make your holiday a glowing one!
The very first tip is lip balm,
hand cream and non-aerosol mist. The
humidity level in airplane is lesser than we Malaysian are used to all year
round. This draws out moisture, causing
tightness on skin. Keep these items in
your handbag for immediate relief from dryness.
When visiting holiday
destinations where the sun shines down unmercifully upon you, do take
precautions to protect yourself from harsh UV rays. The hot weather also opens up pores, so skin
is more prone to oiliness and shine.
Choose lightweight products that are water-based or gel-based which
won’t burden your skin. It is the
sun-block moisturizer.
Just in case with emergency items
like soothing gel, anti-allergy cream and hand sanitizer. You just never know when your skin decides to
act up and truth to be bold, it always does especially when you’re on holiday! Sensitive skin is caused by
inflammation. Curb inflammation at its
core with soothing ingredients and supplements like natural oil.
But if it is a cool country, the
climate is generally drier, which means you’re more susceptible to static-laden
hair and winter-itch, where the skin is so dehydrated and starts to itch. Richer, oil-based products do the trick to
prevent skin from drying out.
What about hair and
dandruff? Dandruff is a recurring
problem in humid weather. Bring along a
pack of anti-dandruff shampoo if you are travelling to this type country. Short massage during refreshing will do. Follow these simple steps. Using circular motions, massage your scalps
as if pushing the base of the skull up to the top of the head. Make small back and forth vibrating motions,
from the forehead to the top of the head.
With both hands flat, press down on scalp and slide hands down from
forehead to the nape. Repeat if
necessary. Later, you will feel better
to continue your vacations.
What are we lacking off? Deodorant or anti perspiration product. Don’t forget.
It is very important in travelling.
Apart from that, please do not leave home without a perfume, at least
the notes that you like most. Don’t you
think that I missed out facial cleanser?
My tip is simple. Go for multi-purpose cleanser that can be used for
both face and body. Make sure it is
gentle enough for your facial skin and good enough to cleanse the dirt from
both face and body.

How strong you
like coffee
There is no
short cut in telling whether espresso or kopi O is stronger as three factors
determine the level of caffeine in coffee, which are, level of roasting of
coffee beans, grind size and brewing method.
The first two factors are inconclusive and to confirm the caffeine
level, the brewing method must be considered.
In Malaysia, kopi O is often brewed using a simple muslin bag (a sock)
into which coffee is loaded the steeped into hot water for few seconds and is
then reused.
Espresso on the
other hand, is made by forcing hot water under pressure through a lightly
packed finely ground coffee. It is also
one of the most concentrated forms of coffee with a distinctive flavor provided
by a layer of flavorful emulsified oil on the surface. Due to the pressure and longer time of
extraction in the preparation of espresso, hence, a cup of espresso contains a
higher caffeine level than a cup of kopi O.
Taste of
coffee
Common requirement
is to get the full flavor of the coffee beans into a cup of coffee. Kopi O is fewer aromas compared to espresso
due to the method of brewing.The perfect espresso will have slightly dark brown
foam and the coffee would have a little bitter.
How much are
you willing to pay
Why is the price
of an espresso so much higher than a cup of kopi O? This is because of cost of
materials, the machine and quality control.
Liberica bean used in kopi O are generally cheaper and easily available
than the Arabica and Robusta varieties used in espresso. And of course a good cup of espresso needs to
be prepared by a certified.
It is your
taste, your money and of course the choice is yours. Coffee has always been the
idol of the heart.
WEEKEND SIGHTSEEING

What do we do
during weekend? Movie? Shopping?
Dining out with family and friends?
Cleaning? There are a lot of
activities that can be done during weekend.
We don’t necessarily need a lot of money to be allocated for a short
sightseeing during weekend. This
activity is fun and can strengthen the relationship between family members or
friends. Some people think that we need
to allocate a certain amount of money for a holiday. I might say no. We can go for a short trip holiday or
sightseeing during weekend at a low cost.
It is just how you spent the time and not the money.
You don’t have to think of long distance destinations to be going for a short trip sightseeing. I believe that there are a lot of places that
you haven’t discovered yet. I can
suggest you a few interesting places to be visited. Historical site, modern building, places of
worship, parks and garden, nature’s park and a few more. If you are interested in historical places,
you can choose to go to Klang. Klang is
a district that appeared earlier than Malacca.
Klang has many waterways that are made out of rivers, including Sg.
Klang, Sg. Bertek, Sg. Pinang, Sg. Binjai and few others. Klang fire station is also very interesting
place to be visited. Built in 1890s, the
fire station with Victorian style architectural design is located at the
junction of Jalan Tunku Diaudin and Jalan Tungku Kelana. Ask permission from the officer to pose as a
fireman and snap photos especially selfies!
Are you a food
lover? Chong Kok Kopitiam @ Jalan
Station is one of the best places for breakfast. Toasted bread with kaya and butter spread
with coffee can kick start your trip.
And for lunch, tasty banana leaf rice at Kawasan 1, Klang is highly recommended. After food, we continue sightseeing, not so
far to Klang, I might recommend Carey Island.
It is an island in northern Banting.
It is a huge island separated from the Selangor coast by the Langat
River. It was named after Valentine
Carey, a former British civil service officer in Malaya long time ago.
To those who want to embrace the nature, let us go to the Selangor State Park. Taman Negeri Selangor or known as Taman Warisan Negeri Selangor is the third largest park in Peninsular Malaysia.The park area, rich in flora and fauna, is significant in maintaining existing levels of biodiversity resources.The wealth of biodiversity of the Park also contributes to Malaysia’s classification as one of the mega-biodiversity countries in the world.Very interesting right? I have one more beautiful location to be introduced, which is the Templer’s Park. Only 6km away from Rawang, this forest reserve consists of multi-tiered waterfalls, jungle streams and trails. Several amenities are available in this forest reserve, such as picnic grounds, fishing spots, parking lots, public toilets and stalls.
I am so excited
to tell you about everything but not to forget few waterfalls located nearby
only which are suitable for sightseeing or outdoor activities. Chilling Waterfalls are probably the most
beautiful waterfalls of Selangor. It is
located just after Selangor Dam. Then I
would also want to introduce Pisang Falls not so far from Kuala Lumpur, Lata
Medang near Selangor Reservoir, a side road leading to Kg. Pertak.Next is the Lolo Falls at Gunung Nuang which
can be one of the must visited place for sightseeing or outdoor activities.
Well, we don’t
actually have to spend a large amount of money for a short sighseeing or
holiday trip during weekend. Happy
discovering what we have nearby us!
EAT HEALTHILY, UNITE A FAMILY !

Dinner time is
always be a time to unite for my family. It is a very important bonding time
for us during dinner.We should avoid fast food and oily food in our daily
diet. To encourage us eat healthily with
our family, I would like to share some healthy menus for a family dinner.
Ingredients
1) whole fish,gut and clean
2) 1 palm-sized dried wild white fungus, soaked
3) 3 tbsp taucheo4) 2 tbsp sugar
5) 2 cups water
6) spring onions, sliced
7) 1 inch young ginger
8) 5 red chillies, chop
9) 6 cloves garlic,chopped
10) 2 tbsp oyster sauce
11) salt
12) cooking oil
Preparation:
1) Break soaked fungus into smaller florets,blanch in boiling water.
2) Heat cooking oil, add taucheo. stir-fry till fragrant. Add sugar. Add water and bring to boil. Remove from heat and set aside. 3) Rub fish with salt and oyster sauce. Add spring onion,ginger. Arrange white fungus around fish. 4) Pour taucheo sauce all over fish and steam over high fire for 10-15 minutes. 5) Fry chopped garlic and pour over cooked fish. 6) Garnish with spring onions.
This dishes is very healthy for a healthy way of eating. Eat healthily
with your healthy family. Happy trying for healthy life !
